bx_dynEQ - a new & innovative EQ & dynamic concept by BRAINWORX.
bx_dynEQ comes in a set of 3 great versions plus an additional plug-in (bx_boom!): mono, stereo (regular L/R) and stereo (M/S).
In addition you get bx_boom!, the "easy" version of on eof the most outstanding presets of bx_dynEQ.
Each audio section offers one adjustable compressor with extremely versatile side-chain filters (the so called KEY path). The signal filtered in the KEY path now controls the actual audio filter (EQ in the SIGNAL path) via the compressor of the KEY path, and via a new FACTOR circuit, which can CUT and BOOST(!) an EQ in the SIGNAL path dynamically and in real time!
Each filter section contains ALL these filter types: lo-cut, hi-cut, peak bands, band-pass, lo-shelving, hi-shelving, BX signature filters "bass-shifters" and "presence-shifters", and flat settings.
What can I do with bx_dynEQ? dynamic EQ-ing (cut and boost!) of mono, stereo and M/S signals, de-essing, M/S compression, de-compression, M/S enhancer, sound-design...
Tune a bass-drum in a final mix(!) without audibly effecting the other signals in the mix, BOOST only the bass-drum in a final mix(!), M/S de-ess your vocals or cymbals in a mastering setup, boost (trigger!) high or low frequencies on mix elements (bass-drums, snares, vocals, guitars, keys, etc.) without boosting cross-talk (filters will only cut or boost short accents of your signal rather than applying permanent heavy EQ on critical signals). FRESH and pure sound in your masters rather than "flat" and dead loud mixes!!
bx_dynEQ is a NEW and complex processor, you should register a TRIAL now and skip through the presets with various signals (full mixes, snares, bass-drums, piano, acc guitars, vocals, etc.) to get a "feel" for the unit. It might take a little practice, but for the pro-engineer this is a "secret weapon" out of the box!
